Relationships can be complicated

Why do men or women cheat in their relationships?

  


Why do spouses cheat in their relationships? One might say it is because of the problems they might be having in their relationships. Some people cheat because of: Passion has faded, partners feel lonely, people find someone who treats them better or who appreciates them more than their current spouses and so on. I did a bit of research on both men and women to try and find out why they cheat.

MEN CHEAT BECAUSE:
  • They are not ready to have commitment.
  • They are no longer feel satisfied and are cowardly to end the relationship.
  • They like various sex partners.
  • They need to feel desired and their partners do not fulfil that need and so on.
WOMEN CHEAT BECAUSE:
  • They feel lonely.                                                                                          
  • Revenge.
  • Boredom.
  • Self-esteem.
  • Unsatisfactory.
  • Money and power.
  • Lack of understanding and communication.
Most of the time we usually read  about women who got murdered for being unfaithful to their husbands and or boyfriends. Women are very emotional creatures, therefore if the main reasons for men who cheat are physical, the reason for women who indulge in such acts are mostly emotional. Marriages in our society today do not seem to mean nearly as much as they used to in the past. I personally think that if you are in a relationship with someone, if you strongly feel that the chemistry is no longer in existence rather brake-up with him or her unlike hurting their feelings, learn to tell the truth about how you feel, do not be selfish and think about yourself alone.

    Wow loving your blog, I want to know does it mean when you in a relationship (Bf and Gf not marriage) you must not socialise with other guys because you might fell into a trap of cheating?

    if you really know what you want and if you are getting all the attention from your BF or GF (you know... care, love, if there is commitment, satisfaction etc), i doubt that you might fall into that trap, because most of the time people who cheat do it because they seek particular things, for example satisfation and other things. you can socialise with other boys but you must both know your boundaries, there are certain things you both musn't do especially when you are in a realtionship with someone else.

    wow!!! the best thing to do before getting into a relation ship is to get to kmow your partner first ... that will actualy help to reduce relationship complications... theres a reson why thres a so called dates(going out) with your partner before in a serious relationship, so make use of that

      Nic apparently our biggest threat in this country is AIDS, well that is how it gets spread, having multiple partners and sleeping around, some of them do not even use protection. Even STDs or STIs... That is how they get spread

    We all do it for different reasons, dynamics change from relationship to relationship...its just like it feels so good to take some random guys girlfriend but when it's vice versa ayi ayi

    I think men we cheat because we feel unsatisfied with our partners,they don't give us love we desearve.

    I agree with you, if you no longer satisfied in your relationship, break up with that person and find someone who will satisfy you, rather than cheating on them and hurting their feelings.
